Bruce Patterson from Canadian Pile Driving Equipment, Canada, is the Junttan Salesman of the Year 2011. The annual title of “Salesman of the Year” is awarded to an individual within the global Junttan sales network, who has succeeded in developing sales and customer relations in the territory he or she operates in by working hard to promote the unsurpassed benefits of Junttan technology within the industry. Junttan strengthens its presence in North America by renewing the agreement on sales and service of Junttan equipment with Sun Piledriving Equipment L.L.C. (S.P.E). With the same, Junttan and Sun Piledriving Equipment reinforce their co-operation to secure the availability of Junttan products and a high service level in the states of Delaware, Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina. Once again Junttan demonstrated the world that by using right equipment and modern technology, pile driving is the right method for deep foundations also in the near proximity of valuable cultural monuments, like the famous Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC. Two Junttan pile driving rigs drove over 2000 pieces of 50-foot timber piles for the foundation of the re-constructed reflecting pool, totaling up to 100 piles per day. The new pool is anticipated to be ready for use in spring 2012.

Lesanco takes over Junttan's service operations in Sweden and Norway
